  2. Hi,
I just found your Blog and am very grateful to find your story. Most blogs I find have been matched and have been in need of sharing the ups and downs with another couple. We are in Canada and been on the list 15 months. We are almost exactly a year apart on our journey and I thought we could connect and share our journey.

  3. I’m not even quite sure how I came across your blog, but I do love to hear stories of those couples that have been where my husband and I have been. What a connection you can make with people you don’t even know!
I wish we would have better documented our journey. We were officially in the adoption pool for 2 years almost to the day when we got our call (we had received calls before to show our profile, but no luck). We have a beautiful 8 week old daughter that we have had since birth. Both husband and I were able to celebrate our first mother’s and father’s day this year.
Let me tell you that it is SO WORTH THE WAIT! We both seem to appreciate things about babies and families so much more than if it had been easy for us to get pregnant, or easy to be placed with a child. God has taught us patience in a way to prepare us for being patient parents. While it doesn’t seem like God was with us through all those hard times, I look back and definitely see his footprints in the sand and not my own.
I would like to wish you good luck on your journey and I will be praying that God sends you your little one soon!
    God bless!

    • Lindsay, Thanks for sharing your story and your positivity. It does really help to know what other folks have been through. It’s also very reassuring to hear that you’ve made it to the other side! Congratulations on your new little one! Thanks for reading!
